My Beauty Regime - Face

Wednesday, July 10

Your face is the part of your body that everyone first looks at when you meet them. So it's obviously an important part of my daily beauty regime.

When I first switched from liquid to powder foundation the Bare Minerals kit that I bought came with a sample primer. When it ran out Boots had an offer on a Rimmel primer that a friend had tried, so I picked one up.
The Fix and Perfect Pro is a five in one product that smooths lines, resurfaces skin, brightens, mattifies and protects. I really love this product and it definitely reduces shine and keeps my skin looking matte all day. At only £7 it's pretty cheap!

My second step is a shine reducing moisturiser, as when I was using the Bare Minerals primer I found that my T-Zone was still a bit shiny at times. So I tried a sample of Garnier's new moisture match moisturiser.
I was matched online with the Shine Be Gone tailor made moisturiser and I absolutely love it. It lasts all day and really does combat the shine.

Step three is sometimes a dab of concealer from Bare Minerals but if my skin's looking good then I skip that and go straight to the foundation. I've tried the matte and the original and I don't really see to much difference. I used the medium colour and it's really easy to blend in. I bought the Handi Buki brush for when I want more coverage, such as on a night out. I would never go back to liquid foundation now!

The final step is a little bit of blush! In winter I used the Bare Minerals warmth as it was a darker brown on my cheeks. In summer I use Maybelline's Dream Mousse blush in a peachy colour. It's light and easy to blend on your skin and gives you a nice glow all day.
