Welcome To My Wardrobe - Maxi Dresses

Wednesday, July 17

I'm off on holiday today and I had to pack to obligatory maxi dress for sunny evenings.
So of course I bought more than one...

I've always found it quite difficult to find maxi dresses that suit me as I'm quite petite and I have a short torso! I normally shop in the petite sections for dresses and that's straight where I headed in Miss Selfridge in Oxford Street. I picked up a basic black maxi dress for £33, not expecting much.

But it looked stunning if I do say so myself! It was the perfect length, just skimming the floor. It's got a cross back which adds a pretty detail, and the pulled in waist keeps it from looking like a sack!
In Miss Selfridge, I also picked up a midi dress from the 'normal-sized' people section, I knew it would be longer than a maxi and it hit halfway down my shin.

This stripe midi, £28, as perfect as it wasn't too tight and it's got a small cut out section at the back, adding detail.
The third dress was an absolute steal from Oh My Love. Their sale is incredible and I snapped up this blue tie dye maxi dress for only £10 from £35. It's a beautiful silky dress that sits really well on my frame.

I'm in love with maxi dresses now that I've found some that actually fit me!
I'll be wearing them with brown wedges, sparkly sandals and simple jewellery.
